Luar Biasa! Andrie Wongso Inspires Singapore

Last weekend, Andrie Wongso, a popular motivational speaker in Indonesia, flew into Singapore to deliver a motivational seminar, bringing his powerful phrase “Success Is My Right”.

The two sessions, held in Indonesian Embassy in Singapore (Chatsworth Road) and Singapore Indonesian School (Siglap Road) on Saturday (07 Feb.) and Sunday (08 Feb.) respectively, attracted more than 600 Indonesian domestic workers and students.

The attendees listened attentively to the seminar in which they were brought through a mental journey of Andrie’s life story. He has captured their attention and left them with the message to have a rich mind and to fight for success with these 6 steps:

1. Fill oneself with hope and optimism;
2. Build a rich character and mentality;
3. Benefit from one’s strength and make full use of opportunities;
4. Be sincere;
5. Never stop learning;
6. Pray earnestly.

This event is jointly organised by Singapore Indonesian Students’ Association (PPIS), Media Transformasi Ministry, Ltd., and Pusat Pendidikan Pelatihan Kerja (P3K) and is supported by Education and Culture Attaché in Indonesia Embassy in Singapore, Ismunandar.

“To achieve success, other than having a fighting spirit and enthusiasm, we also need to motivate ourselves. Like what Mr. Andrie Wongso has said, we need to have a rich mentality. We can achieve anything if we earnestly put effort, never give up, get ourselves equipped with the knowledge and a deep desire to keep moving forward,” said Nurul Hasanah, an Indonesian worker in Singapore, whose off-days are spent studying and enrolling in courses and seminars.

Indeed, Andrie Wongso, with an extraordinary enthusiasm, has instilled in the audiences’ minds that life is a learning journey and that one should not stop fighting for one’s desire. To achieve a better and more successful tomorrow, start with yourself, here and now!
